Ocean Trace Kiteboarding

Ocean Trace is the closest spot to the shop Extreme Kites. This spot can also be referred to as “OT”. It is a favorite for local kiters because it is close by. It usually does not have many surfers in the water. There is a large flat beach here which makes it great for landboarding on east winds with a low tide. This is a good Kitesurfing spot because the waves can pretty good here on those wavey days. This makes it a good place to get some wave riding with a sideshore wind.

PRECAUTIONS: It can get crowded in the summer and when the weather is good on weekends, so plan accordingly.

WIND DIRECTIONS: It is great when the wind is out of the N, NE, SE, S.
